Buttery Lemon Cupcakes

It's no cloak-and-dagger that I honey all things lemon.  I made these cupcakes for a political party I was having too they were the perfect treat! They were hence lite too had bang-up only non overwhelming lemon flavor.

Cupcakes
1 loving cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
two 1/2 cups sugar
five eggs
three tbsp lemon zest
three cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/4 loving cup lemon juice
3/4 loving cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Glaze:
two cups powdered sugar
3-4 tbsp lemon juice

Heat oven to 350.  Line 24 muffin wells amongst liners. Cream together butter too saccharide until lite too fluffy. Add eggs ane at a fourth dimension hence add together the lemon zest. In a split upwards bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda too salt. In a pocket-sized bowl whisk together the lemon juice, buttermilk too vanilla extract. Alternate adding the flour mixture too the buttermilk mixture to the butter mixture making certain each is fully combined inwards between. Start too terminate amongst the flour mixture. Spoon the batter evenly into the liners. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven too allow cool for ten minutes hence take away from terminate too allow cool fully.  Whisk together the glaze too carefully dip the cupcakes into the glaze hence allow the glaze laid earlier serving.
